October 3, 2024

Macmillan Cancer Support is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer. Their services provide crucial support for patients and their families, fund vital research, and offer practical advice to help individuals navigate their cancer journey. Every penny raised at our Coffee Morning will contribute to Macmillan’s essential work, which includes:

  • Nurse Support: Funding specialist nurses who provide expert advice and guidance to patients and families.
  • Emotional Support: Offering counselling and emotional support to individuals and families facing cancer.
  • Financial Help: Assisting patients with financial support, easing the burden of treatment costs and allowing them to focus on recovery.
  • Research: Funding innovative research projects aimed at improving cancer treatments and outcomes.

The Coffee Morning at Powersystems was more than just a fundraising event; it was a chance to come together as a team. The event created a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with delicious baked goods and great conversations. It was an opportunity to not only raise funds but also raise awareness about the challenges faced by those battling cancer.

We are proud to have contributed to such an important cause and look forward to continuing our support for Macmillan Cancer Support in the future. Thank you once again to everyone who made this event a success. By coming together, we can make a real difference.
