- Objectives – with a strong focus on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions as part of our IMS framework. ESG considerations have been fully integrated into these objectives.
- EcoVadis Certification – Powersystems has achieved the EcoVadis Certification for the second consecutive year, reinforcing our corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability credentials.
- Environmental Updates and Carbon Reporting – We continue to track and report on carbon emissions, identifying opportunities for further reductions.
- Journey to Net Zero – We will be revisiting and refining our roadmap to achieving Net Zero, presenting progress and plans to our customer and supplier partners in 2025
Carbon Reduction Plan and Certifications

- ISO 14001:2015 Recertification – Successfully maintaining this environmental management certification through robust internal and external audits.
- Enhanced ESG Reporting – Launched ESG reporting benchmarks, aligning our performance with industry standards across Environmental, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Key Sustainability Initiatives
We are implementing a range of sustainability initiatives across our operations, including:
- Transitioning to an electric/hybrid vehicle scheme for project and senior management staff
- Reducing travel through agile working and video conferencing solutions
- Upgrading facilities with LED and motion-activated lighting to reduce energy consumption
- Trialing environmental performance reporting on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects at sites to better understand downstream Scope 3 emissions
- Adopting hybrid generator sets and biofuels to reduce onsite emissions.
- Exploring renewable energy sources, such as solar panels, for onsite installations.
Future Sustainability Goals

- 2025 will see the implementation of the sustainability app to enhance the accuracy of Scope 3 emissions data collection
- Fully transitioning the company fleet to zero-emission vehicles by 2030
- Collaborating with suppliers to align their carbon reduction plans with our goals
- Eliminating single-use plastics in contracts and promoting low-carbon alternatives such as recycled uniforms
